Cooperative Activities with Daegu Health College

Naresuan University was privileged to accommodate a visit of Dr. Sunghee Nam, President of Daegu Health College, Korea and Dr. Kyung-yong Kim, Director of International Relations who made their first visit to NU after a number of activities has been undergone for nearly one year. A discussion included Global Student Leadership program in August 2013 and a Finding Buddies project where DHC has planned to send 5 qualified students to participate in the project at Naresuan University Language Center with 13 students from University of Kent at Canterbury. Dedicated to become a leader in healthcare and health sciences, DHC has produced excellent graduate of 60,000s in the last 41 years. Initiating linkage with overseas universities is also a key mission of DHC to strengthen academic and research front; it was agreed that the 2 universities focused on exchange of staff and students and sending academic staff for sabbaticals and trainings. The 2 delegates also made a visitation to Faculty of Nursing and Faculty of Allied Health Sciences to explore Basic Life Support cooperation.
