Global Health Perspectives Conducted by Dongseo University

Asst.Prof. Dr. Taeyung Yoon, a professor in Occupational Therapy from Dongseo University, South Korea, brought his 10 students whose majors are dental hygiene, public health administration, biomedical science, radiology, occupational therapy, and tourism management, to meet with President Sujin Jinahyon and senior administrative staff.  The aim of this visit was to conduct a two-week program called ‘Leadership and Medical Tourism in Global Health’ under Dongseo Asia Initiative Program (DAIP), which broadened students’ perspectives in health care issues in different parts of the world.  Assisted by cultural assistants from Faculty of Humanities, the team would have site visits at Faculty of Medicine, NU Hospital, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Faculty of Public Health, Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Dentistry, and International College; this allowed the group to exchange ideas with faculty members in their areas of specialty and sustained a close linkage between the two universities.

The meeting occurred on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at 09.30 at Naresuan Room 2.
