A Prep Meeting for Research-Based Activity at Institute for Ophthalmic Research

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sukhgij Ysothonsreekul, Vice President for International Affairs, held an orientation for 13 postgraduate students in Allied Health Sciences, Dentistry, Medical Sciences, Nursing, and Pharmaceutical Sciences to get them ready for the approved research program ‘Boosting Research Potential of NU Students’ to be hosted by Center for Ophthalmology, Institute for Ophthalmic Research, University of Tübingen, Germany on September 1-12, 2013. This program will serve as a channel for NU students to obtain and exchange scientific research findings with renowned researchers at the Institute, including an opportunity to delve into lectures on diabetes, oncology, virology, preventive dentistry, hematology, etc. DAAD granted the green light for this activity with strong supports from University of Tübingen, the Tistou und Charlotte Kerstan Stiftung, and ADAC.

The meet-up occurred on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at 13.00 at Salao Room 1, Office of the President.
