Introduction


The program in Curriculum and Instruction is designed to develop professionals with innovative leadership to meet the needs of the 21st century. The program attracts educators who have the knowledge, intellectual disposition, professional skills, ethical sensibilities, and leadership potential to make a difference in their educational institutions and relevant stakeholders. in particular, the Curriculum and Instruction faculty members are involved in a rich variety of research and professional development projects. Some are funded by the National Research Council of Thailand. Several faculty research findings were presented and well received at national and international conferences. additionally, the program has established academic networks with counterparts in Burapha University and Silpakorn University. Therefore, our doctoral students may benefit from sharing knowledge and experiences with these partnerships. Our academic community includes national experts serving as associate faculty members. Consequently, the program is flexible enough to accommodate the various needs and aspirations of our students.

Objectives

This program provides an advanced professional education designed:

  • To instill the qualities of morality, professional ethics, and academic leadership to cope with rapid movements in curriculum and instruction as a profession.
  • To produce and improve new knowledge and apply it in a holistic approach for the advancement of the field.
  • To be competent in advanced research and innovation activities, beneficial to creative educational development.

Special Admission Requirements

Apart from the requirements of the university the applicants must be:

  • Master’s degree holders in education
  • Experienced educators, such as teachers or lecturer, nurse educators, and the like.
  • Option 1.1: Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction or equivalent with a GPA of at least 3.25
  • Option 1.2: Bachelor’s degree in Education a GPA of at least 3.5
