Naresuan University’s Finest Won the Award from the Food Innopolis Innovation Contest 2022

       A team of researchers and students from the Faculty of Agriculture Natural Resources and Environment, Naresuan University joined the food innovation competition Food Innopolis Innovation Contest 2022 held at the City Square, Icon Siam Department Store, Bangkok on October 7-9, 2022. The event was organized by NSTDA and Food Innovation City (Food Innopolis) in order to support the high school students, undergraduate, and graduate level in the fields related to food science and technology. Teachers, researchers and individuals who have innovative food concepts or prototypes, and business knowledge in creating food innovations were included in the competition. As a result, NU’s finest won 3 awards, including the winning group (graduate level and individuals) who won the first prize. The Champion received a plaque and prize money worth 50,000 baht for their product “Tofu, egg white cubes in stewed water.” On this occasion, Naresuan University congratulates the research team and the following students for winning the first prize award for Food Innopolis Innovation Contest 2022.

       5. Asst. Prof. Dr. Rangsan Charoensuk, Lecturer, Department of Agricultural Sciences

       6. Ms. Jiratchaya Japhol, Ph.D. student

       Light Weight Group (student-student level Bachelor’s degree, all years or vocational certificate) won the 1st prize award, received a plaque and prize money worth of 30,000 baht, and the Best Business Plan award received a plaque and prize money 10,000 baht for their product “Cheese Egg White.”

The results can be considered as food innovations that can meet the needs of customers to help them eat food with nutritional value and live life more easily.
