Honorary Doctorate in ASEAN Studies Presented to His Royal Highness Prince Narodom Sirivudh
On 21 November 2016, council members and senior executives of Naresuan University paid an official visit to the Cambodian Institute for Cooperation and Peace (CICP), Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Prof. Dr. Krasae Chanwongse, M.D., chair of the Naresuan University Council, Prof. Dr. Sujin Jinayhon, president of Naresuan University, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Piratorn Punyaratabandhu, director of the College of ASEAN Community Studies presented an Honorary Doctorate in ASEAN Studies to His Royal Highness Prince Narodorm Sirivudh. His Royal Highness is also chairman of the board of directors of the Cambodia Institute for Cooperation and Peace (CICP), which is a member of the ASEAN Institute of Strategic and International Studies (ASEAN-ISIS), an institution registered with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), coordinating research and policy with ASEAN leaders. It acts as a think tank, providing knowledge sources that are a very important for academics, researchers, and Independent organizations.
