The economic corridor “Indochina” to LIMEC connect 3 countries

push up economic growth

     On 5th January in 2019, Naresuan University led by a director of School of Logistics and Supply Chain, Naresuan University in Phitsanulok, organized a meeting and welcomed participants from various agencies included Mrs. Vilawan Mangklatanakul__director of General of Department of International Economic Affairs of Thailand,  teams of the Thailand research fund (TRF) and both of government and private sectors were related organization, such as a federation of industry , a chamber of commerce in a lower northern region 1, an Indochina, LIMEC networks and researchers, at office of the president, Naresuan University.

     To attend the meeting which analyzed important issues and possibilities together in Luangprabang, Indochina, Mawlamyine Economic Corridor or LIMEC. It was one of improvement from the research team by Dr. Boon Suphanich received research funds from the national research council (NRCT) in collaboration with The Thailand research fund (TRF). To carry out research on the project of development logistics strategy for land transportation in the route of lower northern between Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Guangxi in republic of Chinese people, since 2013 to 2014.  The economic corridor was linked between Laos to Phu Du which was border with Uttaradit province, Thailand to “Indochina” or the lower northern region 1 of Thailand which consists of 5 provinces, Uttaradit, Phitsanulok, Phetchabun, Sukhothai and Tak, where is a gate to Myanmar at Mawadi, and also linked with other economic corridors.

     LIMEC strength, both of public and private organization joined to be committee of the lower northern by focusing on five relationships: trading, tourism, education, health and logistics which aim to achieve business in progress services, funds and information from each other.
In order to reach the logistics strategy of development an economic and a social growth together from all member countries.  Nowadays, the ministry of foreign affairs is the main agency to push in collaboration with related agencies, including the ministry of all transportations which are involve to consider details about requesting supports of an economic corridor. For Procedures of considerations, regulations and international laws in a framework of an agreement between three countries obviously proceeded in proposed measures.
