NU Vice President Presented “Herbs for the Brain: The Journey of Brahmi from Tradition to Innovation at Hong Kong Polytechnic University

 

Professor Dr. Kornkanok Ingkaninan, Vice President for Research and Innovation Development, together with the Naresuan University research team, participated in international academic and innovation activities at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) and Hong Kong Science Park, Hong Kong SAR, during 6–8 January 2026.

The delegation took part in the Botanical Symposium 2026 and the Botanical Horizons Forum & Young Scholar Talks, where Prof. Ingkaninan delivered an invited presentation entitled “Herbs for the Brain: The Journey of Brahmi from Tradition to Innovation,” highlighting Naresuan University’s research excellence in medicinal plants, herbal medicine, and translational research.

The NU delegation also visited Hong Kong Science Park, hosted by Prof. Simon Lee (PolyU), to explore the innovation ecosystem and a startup co-founded by Prof. Lee, gaining valuable insights into research-driven entrepreneurship and technology translation.
