Prof. Makoto Watanabe, Vice President for Education, Student and International Affairs, Chiba University met with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Watana Padgate, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Naresuan University to discuss ongoing activities and a possibility to co-host a workshop with Faculty of Architecture, Art and Design. Prof. Watanabe was introduced to an overview of Naresuan University and its key research directions leading to becoming a university for an entrepreneurial society. The discussion also covered details of academic agreements between Chiba University and Naresuan University and was agreed upon that, given recently conducted interchange of staff and students and collaborative workshops, Agreement for Academic Exchange and Cooperation and Agreement for Student Exchange Program be renewed. Prof. Watanabe will later give a lecture on ’Service Design’ for undergraduate students in Products and Packaging Design in the afternoon.
The meeting with Prof. Watanabe, brought by the team from Faculty of Architecture, Art and Design led by Dean Nirat Soodsang, was arranged on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 9.00 at Room 305, Office of the President.
