Naresuan University extended a warm welcome to scholarship students who came from 2 major channels of support; i.e., scholarships solely arranged by the university and scholarships under cooperation between Naresuan University and Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) under Thailand International Postgraduate Programs (TIPP). The students, received by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Usa Padgate, Assistant to the President for International Affairs on behalves of president Sarintip Tantanee and Dr. Phisut Apichayakul, Vice President for International Relations and Technology Transfer, were introduced with NU at a glance video, details of the contract and other dimensions of scholarship administration. International students serve as a key mechanism to drive international environmental and international visibility by assisting in facilitation of English language development activities for Thai students so that they could reach desirable English proficiency required in current competitive labor market.
The event was arranged on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 1.30 p.m. at Naresuan University Language Center, Room 3, Center for Information Technology and Communication Services.
