An Adjunct Professor for CBHE Projects

Appointed an Adjunct Professor of Naresuan University, Prof. Andrei Szuder delivered a kick off meeting on ‘Writing CBHE Project Proposals’ for participating team members from Naresuan University International College, Faculty of Architecture, Art and Design and Faculty of Education.  The meeting was meant to give better understanding importance of EU projects, required components need to be written, fields of priorities, initiating partners in Asian countries and EU countries, et cetera.  Not only do projects under Erasmus+ program in Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE), it also contributes to developing new contacts and network, allowing us to properly adapt to rapid and disruptive changes. It was also emphasized that experience and expertise shared among partners should be strictly highlighted, including supporting details why funding from the European Commission is required.  Nature of such project proposals was also explained in that how crucial it is to choose right partner universities, monitoring work packages and deliverables, administering budget ranging from staff cost, travel cost, cost of stay, to name just a few.  To make sure drafts of project proposals from 3 Faculties/College were in shape, bi-weekly meetings between team members and Prof. Szuder were to be met during his 4 month tenure.  Besides assisting in developing project proposals, Prof. Szuder will also give 2 hour online workshops for interested staff and researchers at the end of November, December 2024 and January 2025.

The event took place on Monday, November 4, 2024 at NULC3, Division of International Affairs and Language Development, Center for Information Technology and Communication Services.
