Joint Laboratory by Naresuan University and Murdoch University

 

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sarintip Tantanee, President of Naresuan University (NU), attended A-SEABX Green Economy Mission to Thailand event organized by Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), Australian Embassy in Thailand.  The gathering was meant for Australian and Thai businesses/higher education institutions to showcase projects and activities in line with the green economy between the two countries.  President Tantanee together with Prof. Dr. Anthony O’Donnell from Bioplastics Innovation Hub, Murdoch University (MU) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chaleeda Boropichaichartkul from the Thai Research University Network were invited to present a collaborative project between NU and MU for the upcoming launch of Joint Laboratory for Waste Utilization and the Circular Economy at Naresuan University to help drive research in biopolymers and bioplastics between the two universities to the audience.  Networking session was also arranged to give an opportunity for higher education institutions and business sector from Australia and Thailand to discuss and strengthen collaborative linkages.

A-SEABX Green Economy Mission to Thailand was arranged on Wednesday, 1 October 2025 at 10.30 a.m. at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), Bangkok.
