An Official Discussion with National University of Laos
Representing Naresuan University (NU) and delegated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sarintip Tantanee, President of NU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pisit Maneechot, School of Renewable and Smart Grid Technology (SGtech), met with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ounla Sivanpheng, Vice-President for Research and Mr. Amkheng Phenglasy, Deputy Director, Office of International Relations, National University of Laos to discuss collaborative activities between the two universities, particularly strategies to leverage teaching programs for learners’ experience. The discussion broadened to a possibility of joint research projects for economic cooperation and human resources development in the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) and a renewal of the Memorandum of Understanding between both the parties. Plans for future activities also covered the fields of agriculture, engineering and renewable/alternative energy where the industry/private sector expressed an intent to take part in this cooperation.
