Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sarintip Tantanee, President of Naresuan University (NU), extended her warm welcome to delegates from Youth Welfare and Education Office, His Majesty’s Secretariat, the Kingdom of Bhutan led by Ms. Choing Dolma, Head, Youth Welfare and Education Office. The group proposed to meet with NU senior executives and representatives from faculties/schools where scholarship Bhutanese students are studying to explore an effective coordination to closely monitor students’ progress and strengthen mutual cooperation, which has been established for over a decade. To date, a total number of 147 Bhutanese students have received scholarships under such cooperation through Youth Welfare and Education Office, and the office also took this opportunity to meet with currently studying Bhutanese students to inquire their well-beings, learning environment and et cetera.
The event was arranged on Wednesday, 7 January 2026 at 10.00 at Supan Kanlaya Room, and the meet-up with the students was at 10.30 at Naresuan Meeting Room 306, Office of the President.
