Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sarintip Tantanee, President of Naresuan university (NU), presided over an orientation for 7 Bachelor’s degree students who will attend a two-week cultural exchange program (outbound) at Jeonbuk National University (JBNU), Republic of Korea from 25 February to 7 March 2026. The program is run under ‘Feeling Korea’ by JBNU and aims at providing excellent opportunities for participating students to learn Korean unique culture, basic Korean language, local Korean activities/sports, while also exposing them to cultural understanding. President Tantanee advised the students to reap this opportunity not only to engage in academic contents but immerse in cultural diversities from both peers and staff in pursuit of global citizen mindset. The Feeling Korea also serves as a key driver to strengthen a close relationship between NU and JBNU. Prior to the departure of the students, NU, by Division of International Affairs and Language Development and Faculty of Humanities, arranged for the students a precessional training to get them have basic knowledge of the Korean language and Korean culture on 20-21 December 2025.
The orientation, attended by students from Faculty of Business, Economics and Communication (2), Faculty of Education (2), Faculty of Humanities (1), Faculty of Social Sciences (1) and Naresuan University International College (1), was arranged on Tuesday, 20 January 2026 at 17.00 at Naresuan Meeting Room 301, Office of the President.
