Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sarintip Tantanee, President of Naresuan University (NU), extended her warm welcome to Ms. Kim Hae Won, a renowned Korean writer, who came to narrate her experience as a writer and served as the speaker of a workshop on ‘Interpretation and Translation Verification’ for staff and students of Faculty of Humanities. The workshop, facilitated by Ms. Kim Hae Won who wrote the famous novel ‘Youth of May’ which later adapted to a K-series by the same name and well-regarded among Korean and Thai viewers, is delivered by cooperation from NU Korean Section, Department of Oriental Languages, Faculty of Humanities and Division of International Affairs and Language Development under the support from Literature Translation Institute of Korea (LTI), Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST), Republic of Korea. This important workshop was also delivered online during April to June to get interested staff and students to be familiar with Korean literature.
The event, attended by executives, staff members, and students of Korean Section, was arranged on Friday, 5 June 2026 at Suwannapingkarn Conference Room, Faculty of Humanities.
