On August 26, 2022, Dr. Charatdao Kongmuang, Vice President for Student Development, Alumni and Arts and Culture, received a recognition along with other students and alumni at the recently concluded awards ceremony in search of the universities with excellent records for loan repayments by students for the fiscal year 2021 at Vayupak Convention Center in Bangkok. Mr. Krisada Chinavicharana, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance and Chairman of the Student Loan Fund presided over the said ceremony and congratulated the recipients of the award.
Mr. Chainarong Kajchapanan, Student Loan Fund Manager emphasized, “This important event is organized solely to honor students, alumni of KU and educational institutions that exemplified effective students’ debt management. These students serve as good role models for younger generations to appreciate the benefits of student loans and have a positive attitude towards the said government financial aid. This is also a way for students and educational institutions to practice social responsibility by dutifully settling loans in a timely manner. The Student Loan Fund takes pride in providing educational opportunities and developing quality human resources. As a result, empowered students with an access to quality education can be a driving force for the nation and the economy of the future.
The awardees were selected from the different educational institutions that were participating in the fund operations across the country. Recognition events such as this will boost morale and pride of those who have been selected as good role models. Inculcating social responsibility and building a network of good role models will be beneficial to our society as we participate in activities related to SLF on various occasions.
