H.E. Mr. Pedro Zwahlen, Ambassador of Switzerland in Thailand, met with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sarintip Tantanee, President of Naresuan University and her executive team members, including the delegation from Faculty of Social Sciences led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Napisa Waitoolkiat. Serving as a higher education institution responsible for the 9 provinces in the lower north of Thailand, Naresuan University is gearing forward offering academic and research excellence in all key disciplines. President Tantanee also responded to Ambassador Zwahlen that the university plans to launch an archeology program to meet increasing demands of prospective students besides the forensic anthropology course currently offered in the field of Biology in Faculty of Science. She additionally affirmed that educational decentralization and equity of education are priorities of the university as evident in the contributions of NU’s Faculty of Education to shape highly qualified teachers and NU Demonstration School to groom and nurture young learners for tertiary education. H.E. Zwahlen also took an electric shuttle to look around the campus after the discussion concluded.
