A Special Lecture by Korean Ambassador at Naresuan University
Dr. Phisut Apichayakul, Vice President for International Relations and Technology Transfer, gave a warm welcome to His Excellency Mr. Park Yongmin, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Thailand, upon his first visit to Naresuan University to deliver a special lecture under Youth Engagement Program on the topic โThailand-Korea Relations, Cultural Impact, and Study Opportunitiesโ for interested staff and students in the campus.ย The lecture emphasized a close relationship between the two countries established for 67 years and has developed steadily up to the present time.ย The soft power of Korea yielded various impacts in the industry such as music and film and expanded to the strength in academic and research in higher education arena.ย Channels of study in Korea were also introduced to the audience as Korea serves as one of most desired study destinations in Asia.ย After the lecture concluded, H.E. Mr. Yongmin also met with NU senior executives to discuss likely cooperation between the embassy and the university and support the embassy could contribute to sustain future collaboration.
