Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sarintip Tantanee, President of Naresuan University (NU), Mr. Narong Angkasing, Naresuan University Council Distinguished Member, and other senior executive members from Faculty of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment headed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Chanin Umponstira, Faculty of Engineering led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Kumpon Subsomboon, and School of Renewable Energy and Smart Grid Technology paid an official business visit to National University of Laos, (NUOL), the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR) to attend a signing ceremony for a renewal of the MOU between NU and NUOL since the bilateral agreement formalized in 2020. Warmly received by Prof. Dr. Dexanourath Seneduangdeth, President of NUOL and his high-office staff members, the NU delegation had an opportunity to discuss collaborative activities between the two universities, particularly focusing on the areas of agriculture, engineering, and economics and business management where both the universities shared common interests in collaborative research and cooperation under Greater Mekong Subregion Academic and Research Network (GMSARN). The NU delegation also spent site visitation at Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Economics and Business Management, and Faculty of Agriculture of National University of Laos to explore administration and management and classroom delivery for students. An official visit to Young Entrepreneurs Association of Laos (YEAL) was also included to seek cooperation in agricultural energy technology, the business and marketing sectors, as well as joint problem-solving
