Naresuan University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sarintip Tantanee, President of Naresuan University (NU), together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Usa Padgate, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Onusa Suwanpratest, Dean of Faculty of Humanities, participated in a signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Naresuan University and Rennes 2 University, France. On behalf of Rennes 2 University, the agreement was signed by Vice President Dr. Valeria Pansini as the representative of the President of Rennes 2 University.
The ceremony was witnessed by H.E. Mr. Jean-Claude Poimbœuf, Ambassador of France to Thailand, and H.E. Prof. Dr. Yodchanan Wongsawat, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation. The signing ceremony was held on Thursday, 14 May 2026, at Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao Bangkok as part of the “2026 Thailand-France International Collaboration: Franco-Thai Symposium on Higher Education, Research and Innovation.”
In addition, representatives from Naresuan University were cordially invited by the French Embassy in Thailand to attend a Cocktail Reception on Friday, 15 May 2026, at the residence of Ambassador of France to Thailand in Bangkok.
