Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sarintip Tantanee, President of Naresuan University (NU), extended her warm welcome to a delegation from National Kaohsiung Normal University (NKNU), Taiwan, led by Prof. Dr. Cheng-Yen Wang, President of NKNU. The visit stemmed from official cooperative agreements between the two universities established since 2022 and the NKNU team took an opportunity to meet with NU executives and representatives from NU Faculties to further strengthen collaborative activities between NU and NKNU. Founded in 1954 and serve as one of the oldest comprehensive universities in Taiwan, NKNU is actively engaged in driving the university towards smart campus equipped with NKNU-owned AI systems. With varieties of 63 academic programs at all degree levels, students enjoy learning environment offered by 6 Colleges; namely Education, Humanities, Management, Arts, Science, and Technology with a growing number of over 140s partners throughout the globe. The discussion between top managements of the two universities covers exchange of students at undergraduate level and postgraduate level, short-term cultural exchange programs, co-advisors for postgraduate students, an opportunity to implement double/dual degree programs in mutual fields of interests, using of AI (smart hospitality and tourism technology) to collect data for tourist attractions emphasizing temples of the two countries, and cooperation of general education courses.
