NU X Consulate of India in Ching Mai

Delegated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sarintip Tantanee, President of Naresuan University (NU), Asst. Prof. Dr. Charoon Sarin, Vice President for Special Affairs presided over the opening ceremony of Humanities Day organized by Faculty of Humanities.  The event, serving as an official open house for the Faculty, catered a series of interactive and fun activities showcasing academic competitions, language and cultural discoveries, multicultural exhibitions, and academic programs for interested high school students in the lower north of Thailand.  This year in particular, the Consulate of India in Chiang Mai led by Mr. Rajeev Tandon, Vice Consul (Commerce) honored Naresuan University by participating in Humanities Day by arranging the booth under the theme ‘Hornbill Festival in Nagaland: A Pure Cultural Canvas of Nagaland Awaits You.’  The booth highlighted varieties of Assam tea, Indian unique dessert Pani Puri and traditional Indian handicrafts for attendants to taste observe.

 

The Humanities Day was organized on Tuesday, 4 August 2026 at Faculty of Humanities, Naresuan University.
