Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sarintip Tantanee, President of Naresuan University (NU), warmly welcomed a delegation from EVE Energy Co., Ltd., People’s Republic of China, Autosilicon Inc., Republic of Korea, and Full Advantage Co., Ltd., led by Mr. YS Yoon, Strategic Advisor to the President of EVE Energy Co., Ltd. The delegation was brought by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nipon Ketjoy, Director of School of Renewable Energy and Smart Grid Technology (SGtech). Currently, SGtech is working closely with the three companies, whose expertise actively engaged with advanced technologies in battery management systems, battery diagnostics, battery recycling with an ultimate goal to come up with smarter and safer batteries in both electric vehicles and Internal Combustion System (ICS) vehicles. President Tantanee encouraged SGtech to cooperate with the companies in a research collaboration focusing on renewable energy and energy storage technologies, including technology transfer and know-hows from corporates for capacity building in alternative energy. Such the research could usefully draw funding from Program Management Unit for Area Based Development (PMU A) of Thailand and Korean government.
