Cultural Responsive Activities Facilitated by Kanto Gakuin University

 

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sarintip Tantanee, President of Naresuan University received a delegation from Kanto Gakuin University (KGU), Yokohama, Japan led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nagisa Nakawa, a professor in Mathematics Education, Department of Architecture and Environmental Design. A site visitation is liaised by Faculty of Education and the KGU team spent times in a local school in Phitsanulok remote area to conduct volunteerism/cultural responsive activities on September 7; later on September 8, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nakawa ran a workshop on ‘Bridging Society, Social Values and Education: Research on Integrated Learning Design where some 100s participants attended both onsite and online. KGU also took this opportunity to observe administration and management aspects of Naresuan University Demonstration School and Naresuan University Secondary Demonstration School. President Sarintip recommended an official agreement be formalized to broaden academic and research networking for better quality of education and facilitating likely future projects between the two universities.
