BCG Approach Utilized in a Research Project at NU

Invited by Faculty of Engineering under Reinventing University program supported by Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, Prof. Dr. Symeon Christodoulou, a professor in civil and environmental engineering from University of Cyprus, Republic of Cyprus met with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sarintip Tantanee, President of Naresuan University to discuss collaborative project between the two universities. Prof. Dr. Christodoulou is a key researcher in the project ‘Resilience and Adaptation of Climate Change using BCG (bio-circular-green) Approach’ with NU Faculty of Engineering in cooperation with Faculties of Engineering from Chiang Mai University and Kasetsart University. The project, operating from 4 June 2024 to 3 April 2025, focuses on utilization of Building Information Modeling (BIM) to cope with climate change using BCG approach prioritizing the use of natural resources, eco-friendly and biodegradable materials for building constructions.

The meeting took place on Wednesday, 4 December 2024 at 09.00 at Supan Kanlaya Room, Office of the President.
