Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sarintip Tantanee, President of Naresuan University (NU), extended her warm welcome to Prof. Dr. Ingrid Liu, President of Tzu Chi University (TCU), Taiwan and her high office staff members on the occasion of a signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between the two universities. A renewal was made possible by active involvements in academic activities, research and mobility of staff and students between NU and TCU since 2014 and a commitment to cherish close cooperation for years to come. Prof. Dr. Liu also took this opportunity to invite president Tantanee to make an official visit to TCU next year to celebrate the 36th anniversary of TCU and, more importantly, the diamond anniversary of the Tzu Chi Foundation, and president Tantanee welcomed this invitation. Besides joining the signing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Liu will also give a special talk on “All Plants Have Therapeutic Functions: Tzu Chi Phytomedicine Research” at the 21st Naresuan National Academic Conference on 17 July 2025; other TZU delegates also played important roles in the conference such as serving as a moderator in a research presentation room and acting as an invited speaker.
The ceremony took place on Wednesday, 16 July 2025 at Naresuan 304 Meeting Room, Office of the President.
